There has always been a taboo of people perceiving natural hair as being unkempt, and unruly (which is far from the truth). When it comes to interviews I'm pretty sure everyone changes their appearance to ensure greater chances of gaining that job. These changes could include wearing a skirt, slacks, button up, wearing makeup, or even changing your hair, basically anything that you wouldn't do on a regular basis. This then poses the question, do you alter the state of your hair to attain a job? Or do you wear your hair in a way society deems as appropriate to the interview?
