There has always been a taboo of people perceiving natural hair as being unkempt, and unruly (which is far from the truth). When it comes to interviews I'm pretty sure everyone changes their appearance to ensure greater chances of gaining that job. These changes could include wearing a skirt, slacks, button up, wearing makeup, or even changing your hair, basically anything that you wouldn't do on a regular basis.
