The Easiest Bun Tutorial Ever!!!

Want to make a full bun after you have washed your hair??? Welp here is how.

Not much is needed to accomplish a bun, but a brush, scrunchy, water bottle, and some jojoba oil (my favorite oil). Enjoy the video if you have any questions feel free to post them below and I answer them as soon as I can. Also if you have any type of video that you would like to see (how to's, tutorials, product reviews) let me know and I will attempt to post those as well.

Enjoy!!!

Protective Styles... Day 6

Simple updo, bun in the back, hump in the front, used water, coconut oil, and brush to get the style to look neat.

Enjoy!!!

Protective Styles... Day 5

And the protective styles continue... This one was super simple I did a high ponytail, twisted it and bobby pinned it in the back. Took no more than two minutes would've added a scarf or headband but I didn't have a decent looking to wear outside lol.

Enjoy!!!

Updo Season!!! Aka Proctective Styles

Now that I am back at work (amen to that) and the weather is changing, it is time for proctective styling. Not going to lie it is definitely not my favorite thing because it can be time consuming and the styles I like seem even harder to achieve (bummer). I also have this HUGE fear that I may lose length trying these proctective styles out which is not my goal in this heartless journey. So....with that being said I plan on trying out certain hairstyles with accessories first. Accessories make any style appear fancier than it really it is. I will be taking pics showing the styles I copied.

Much Love,

Wash day!!!

Finally had the opportunity to wash my hair (thank Jesus) kind of didn't have a choice since my hair did not want to hold any style. Anyhoo I washed my hair with Giovanni shampoo and conditioner put it in a bun and went about my business for the day. I put it in a bun so that my curls would be stretched somewhat and also due to the fact that air drying my hair takes forever (literally). While wet I used Shea moisture curl and style milk so that my hair could have some added moisture to it. And I finger comb that way I won't mess up my natural curl pattern completely. Pretty simple process, but a long air drying process.

Love That Look!!!

Finally watched Rick Ross Touch 'N You video and it was actually pretty decent. But what really caught my eye was Usher's outfits throughout the whole video, specifically the second look when he had on this black leather jacket. Fellas...take notes because this looks good!!! And super effortless, but it definitely catches the eye. I also loved the girl look as well and did you naturalistas peep the high bun she rocked!!! Flippin gorgeous, and those earrings...I need those asap!!! I posted the video below so have a look and judge for yourself. For you Rick Ross fans he will be here in Chicago doing a live concert August 11, 2012 at Club Adrianna's (God Forgives I Don't Tour) if you would like to attend you can buy tickets at any DTLR locations in the Chicagoland area. Early arrival is suggested!!!

Much love,
Bri

Up, Up, and Away!!!

For this past weekend of adventures I did not feel like dealing with my hair AT ALL (it happens lol). So I put my hair in a bun, all that was needed was 4  bobby pins and a scrunchy. I also used water, Shea Moisture: Curl and Style Milk which smells so good!!! It took less than 5 minutes to create on top of that!!! Definitely a go to hairstyle of mine.
