Its growing!!! Finally. If you nuture your hair it shall grow. The picture on the right is when I had that terrible hack in December and the picture on the right is ny length at the end of May. Now I did get a trim after that same day but it was exactly that A TRIM!!! Definitely will be deep conditioning my hair today all day (coconut oil). I also want to deep condition with olive oil at the end of the month to see thw effects that it has on my hair.

A week ago I had a hair photo shoot with a lovely hair company with I will post pics from that day as well, but I had to get over my fear of getting mt hair trimmed (oh lawd!! *faints*). We all know my past experience with hair salons and the fact that I never planned on stepping foot in another EVER again. However I had to do this shoot and I had to let my china wall down and boy am I glad that I did. I found a lady that is honest upfront and extremely good with my hair and she is conveniently close to my house down the street honestly. I told her my story and she sympathized with my fear and eased me slowly to the scissors. She did a wonderful job her instagram name is @iamstacydanielle follow her like her pics and pay her a visit at her shop!!!

I don't know why we call it a bar crawl, because 9 times out of 10 no one makes it to the second bar lol. But for my friends birthday we attempted a bar crawl and had loads of fun.

I had a blast so much so that I fell asleep super early... smh. Hey I'm getting up there in age so what do you expect lol. As soon as I washed my kiddies up while they were sleep I was out literally. But I enjoyed my family so much that its not even funny. Its never a dull moment on both ends of my family and I do mean never. So attached are some pics of my hair of course lol!

The heat index is rising in Chicago and I absolutely love it. I hate the effects that it has on my hair though lol. It is possible to be hot and cute at the same time just have to alter what your hair so that your styles will last longer. Yesterday I wore a side french braid with my bangs, I made sure that the braid was fluffed up so that it looked full.
